Dina Massry, M.D. is a board certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She had been in practice at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California for over 5 years before starting her private practice in the beginning of 2007.

In her current practice, Del Mar M.E.D, Dr. Massry continues to provide honest and caring medical and surgical treatment for conditions of the skin, hair and nails. Del Mar M.E.D.’s warm, inviting atmosphere and helpful staff, allows patients to feel that they are receiving the personal and comprehensive care Dr. Massry works hard to provide. Her broad training and experience make her an expert in treating an extensive range of medical and surgical dermatologic conditions, as well as providing the most up-to-date treatments in the area of cosmetics and skin rejuvenation.

Dr. Massry was born in Los Angeles, California. She received her undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. She went on to receive her medical education and internship training at the University of California, San Diego. Subsequently, she completed her Dermatologic residency training at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Medical Centers.

Upon completion of her training, Dr. Massry joined the prestigious Scripps Clinic. In 2003 she accepted the position of Head of Division of Dermatology for Scripps Green Hospital, a title she held until her departure for private practice in 2007. Dr. Massry’s scope of practice included the medical management of a broad range of dermatologic conditions, cutaneous surgery for both benign and cancerous lesions, as well as the most up-to-date cosmetic and laser procedures. Additionally, Dr. Massry was actively involved in the Scripps Clinic Annual Melanoma conference where she lectured on Melanoma and Pregnancy. She also participated, and continues to participate, in volunteer skin cancer screenings for the community.

Dr. Massry is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the California Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, the San Diego Dermatological Society, the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery and the San Diego Medical Society.
