Del Mar M.E.D. has admitting and operative privileges at:

Scripps Green Hospital
Outpatient Surgery of La Jolla

We accept PPO insurance plans and are contracted with some EPO and POS plans.

We do not accept Medi-cal or HMO insurances insurances.

Medicare, Blue Cross PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Aetna PPO, Healthnet PPO, UnitedHealthcare PPO, and Tricare PPO are some of the more common insurance plans that we are contracted with. Please be advised that our office does not verify your insurance eligibility, you must contact your insurance carrier to inquire if we are in or out-of-network with your plan.

We provide insurance billing but strongly encourage all patients to confirm their coverage prior to making an appointment. Co-payments are due at the time of the appointment. If the insurance company does not pay the full balance, or denies the claim any unpaid balance becomes patient responsibility.
